Comino & Blue Lagoon Cruises
Duration is 6 to 8 hours
Scenic cruise along the coastline to Comino Island for a day at the stunning Blue Lagoon. Lots of time for swimming, snorkelling or just lounging in the sun.
• Pickup and drop off
• Coastal boat trip
• Free time at Comino Island & Blue Lagoon
• Use of boat facilities which include bar, restrooms, shaded and sun decks
• Comino caves speedboat trips (optional at a supplement)
This cruise is scheduled to operate daily between May and October. Check the BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE booking panel for available dates.
This cruise is specially designed to give the maximum time in Comino and enable you to make the most of the unforgettable crystal clear waters of the magical Blue Lagoon. The rest of the day is spent at one's own leisure sunbathing, swimming or you can enjoy watersports offered by vendors once ashore.
Access to the Blue Lagoon
All cruise boats moor on the periphery of the Blue Lagoon and there is a 5-minute walk to the main Blue Lagoon beach. The terrain is natural, therefore expect uneven ground which is not suitable for people with a walking disability. The boat does not stay moored in Comino for the full duration, therefore you will not have access to the boat facilities all the time. There are a number of small outlets and public toilets close to the Blue Lagoon area.
Cruise Routing
This boat departs from Sliema first and then pick's up from St. Paul's Bay on way to the Comino. On the return, it drops off at St. Paul's Bay first and then Sliema.
More to Enjoy
During your visit to Comino Island and the Blue Lagoon, optional speedboat trips around the caves, coves and lagoons around the island of Comino are offered by local operators. These are available at a supplement and paid locally.
You can make your own way to the boat departure point in Sliema. If you are not staying in the Sliema area book a transfer to get to the boat and return you back at the end of the boat trip. Checkout out pickup point options below and click on the location to view on Google Maps.

IMPORTANT During the peak summer from June to September, Comino Island attracts thousands of visitors every day, and the island is often overcrowded. There are other cruise options to avoid visiting during such a busy time of day, such as the Comino & Blue Lagoon Sunset Cruise, which departs later and returns later.

For the price it was a great tour. Big boat, but come early to get better seats.

Would have been perfect if the weather was nicer

As Maltese Australians of 3rd and 4th generation we have no living close relatives in Malta and have been so impressed with these tours by this company we have booked several ! Again this was another value for money and interesting tour. The amazing colour and clarity of the water around the Blue Lagoon on a sunny day which is very often in Malta will not disappoint. Many guests found other incredible pockets to swim in around Comino as well as the blue lagoon during the 4 hours too.. They are smart tourists. The captain of the boat provided clear commentary on the way there and back. The lunch was filling. The only thing I didn’t like was the obnoxious, uneducated other tourists you get in Malta these days. Happily littering Comino with their straws, butts and food wrappers when there were PLENTY of half empty bins available to take your rubbish to. Or bringing a poor attitude of non enjoyment as they haven’t read up about Comino being an exposed and truly rugged natural island. Being from Australia we are used to rugged landscapes and hot weather and found all the little lizards and skinks amusing ! You should bring reef shoes for Comino for the best exploring comfort. Why you wouldn’t swim on booking this 4 hour tour (unless for a truly valid reason) is beyond me. Excellent day’s touring.

Really enjoyed the trip, the swimming and the views. Disappointed by the amount of rubbish left behind. Looks terrible. Particularly pineapples and cups.

It was an amazing experience! One of the most beautiful days that we spent in Malta, don't hesitate to book this tour.

Do not miss this beautiful place! The +4 hours in the Blue Lagoon are worth it. I wouldn't recommend combining it with other destination. The ferry was perfect, though the organisation for the pick up should be better. Also, people staying at Sliema would rather walk to the ferry on their own rather than waiting for a bus in the morning sun.

The Blue Lagoon is simply stunning, it is a shame it is so busy, but then again it is understandable. Nice boat, friendly crew...all in all, excellent value for money

Great and funny crew. Ship is little bit far from the main spot, but small walking is just good.

A very enjoyable trip; the transfers were timely and the drivers helpful. The boat was comfortable; the trip included lunch and drinks so made for a leisurely afternoon and evening on board and swimming at Comino. We chose to swim from the boat, moored near to the jetty, after struggling a bit with the rocks. Others chose to return to the boat for shade and refreshments. Taking the afternoon trip allowed us more space on the island and better opportunities to snorkel in the blue lagoon as many other tours began to leave about 4pm. We left about 7pm after a very relaxing afternoon and watched the sun go down from the boat on our return. I would recommend this tour, the booking process was straight forward, Sara at the tour company was very helpful when I booked at short notice and the trip was excellent value.

Loved the Blue Lagoon, but it's really crowded. I would love to visit it when there are not so much people there, but don't know if that's possible.
