My son and I are 3rd and 4th Gen Maltese Australians and have no close living relatives left on Malta. We have loved these tours and booked several. The tour by gullet is quite atmospheric and makes you feel like you could be the next Captain Jack Sparrow surveying the islands for bounty ! The lunch was filling. I really enjoyed the swim off the boat at San Blas as the clarity and colour of the water around the islands is outstanding. The only downside for us on our trip was the obnoxious uneducated tourists you can get who obviously read up nothing on Malta in advance. Take a hint and look at Malta/Gozo Lonely Planet. It’s cheap ! There is a segment of tourists who come unprepared and therefore have less appreciation in general, expecting a tiny island with limited infrastructure to run like a German stopwatch at all times lol like a massive city in Europe. Do these people even enjoy their holidays on little islands ? I doubt they have the ability. It was great to see other tourists though truly interested in the history and religious aspects which the very well spoken and multilingual Maltese tour guides are more than happy to impart. Good on you !

Very pleased with this tour. The commentary was good as was the food, both better than expected. Maybe stayed at Comino too long but overall would definitely recommend. Thanks.

Another awful day. It was a lovely four hour cruise dragged into a full day. The beginning was lovely until we got to Comino Island. The island is tiny, something like a mile long and not as wide and there was absolutely nothing to do if you dont go swimming. There were several of us older folk sitting for two or three hours on the boat waiting to continue the cruise. It was extremely boring. The captain of the boat gave a running commentary but is was too quiet to hear over the hum of the boats engine. If I had known that I would have been twiddling my thumbs for hours, I definitely would not have gone on it. I would not recommend this cruise to anyone at all and I know that several others on the cruise felt the same way.

The actual boat trip was great & the crew were wonderful. Unfortunately when we arrived at the dock we were sent off of the coach but not given any direction as to where to go. We queued up for the boat for 10 minutes only to be told it was the wrong boat and sent further down the street. When we arrived at Comino, the island is very small so we walked over to the blue lagoon. This was disappointing as it was so busy, 100's of people milling around, we did go on the extreme speedboat which was awesome, worth every euro. On return to dock there were a mass of people all trying to find out where their coach was, there was only one man who was trying to sort everyone out, total chaos! Very badly organised. We eventually got to our coach about 30 minutes later, really spoilt the day which was a shame.
